Assessment, intervention and prevention of communication disorders — for all ages.

The Speech Therapist focuses on the assessment, intervention and prevention of communication disorders, including spoken language (functions associated with the understanding and expression of oral and written language) and other forms of non-verbal communication (such as chewing and swallowing).

The Speech Therapist evaluates and intervenes with individuals of all ages, with the aim of optimising lost or unacquired abilities and always improving their quality of life.

Areas of Practice

  • Care in the area of feeding and communication for newborn babies and their parents
  • Promoting linguistic, vocal and communication skills in children
  • Intervention in reading and writing disorders, disfluency and communication enhancement
  • Stimulating and improving speech, reading, writing, comprehension and cognitive capacity
  • Intervention in acquired language disorders (e.g., brain injuries from stroke, traumatic brain injury, dysarthria), vocal pathologies and swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
  • Promoting communication and voice skills in a wide range of professionals

A multidisciplinary team, in your home, up to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
