The home orthopaedic and trauma care service is indicated for people recovering from injuries, surgery or musculoskeletal changes that affect mobility, autonomy or day-to-day comfort.
We support situations such as:

- Hip and pelvic injuries
- Joint replacements, such as hip or knee prostheses
- Injuries to the upper and lower limbs
- Ligament and tendon injuries
- Low back pain and back pain
- Herniated discs
- Spinal conditions
- Scoliosis
- Osteoporosis
- Joint or muscle pain
- Temporary or permanent functional limitation
- Other musculoskeletal conditions
This support is especially important when there is difficulty travelling to clinics or hospitals, risk of falling, persistent pain, frailty, functional dependency or a need for continuity of care after hospital discharge.
